興味のきっかけは、みちびきWebサイトの記事を担当するため、東京海洋大学で学生さんに混じりGPSの講座を受講させてもらったことです（ご厚意に感謝！）。運悪く椎間板ヘルニアに悩まされている時期で、杖をつきながら１限目の講義に何とか通い、春学期を完走。基本的なパースペクティブを得た後、同サイトの記事取材を通じ勉強を重ねるうち、GNSSと対をなす電子基準点網の存在を知り、それがたまたま生まれ故郷の小学校にも設置されていることを知り、がぜん親近感を抱きました。以来、旅行や出張のついでに立ち寄るようになり、数十点を訪問しています。節度あるファン生活を送るため「訪点だけを目的に出かけない」をマイルールとしています。

    My interest started when I was allowed to take a GPS course with students at TUMSAT to write articles for the MICHIBIKI website.

   That was exciting!  Unfortunately, I was suffering from a herniated disc, so I managed to attend the first period lecture with a cane and completed the spring semester.
    After gaining a basic perspective, I learned about the GEONET which is the counterpart of GNSS, through  interviews to exparts and writing articles on the website.

    And I happen to know a GEONET station is installed at the elementary school of  my hometown, which made me feel very close to it.
    Since then, I have visited dozens of GEONET stations, stopping by on my sightseeing/business trips. In order to lead a moderate life as a fan, I make it a rule not to go out just for the sake of visiting GEONET stations.
